Happy New Year Guys!
As this is my first blog of 2013 I thought I’d let you know what I’ve been up to over the past few weeks!
As you know, I went to Ladies European Tour Qualifying school in December but unfortunately had a disappointing trip and came away without my full LET card for 2013. I had a great first week in Morocco, finishing 8th in the pre-qualifying stages, and felt really positive and happy with my game going into the final stage just a few days later. Sadly I got off to a really bad start on day 1 and I was fighting an uphill battle to get back on track for the next 3 days.
I decided to take some time off from golf over Christmas and New year and spent it with my family and friends. It was nice to have a break but now the season is drawing closer I’m fully back in the swing of things! I’ve decided to play a full season on the LET Access Series which shoulds have 13 or 14 events throughout the year. I’m feeling really excited and ready to get going in my first season as a pro! The LET Access Series holds many opportunities as the Top 5 players on the Order of Merit at the end of 2013 earn full playing rights for the LET in 2014.
The season starts in late March so in order to prepare as best I can I’m heading back to my favourite place, Florida! I’m leaving on January 22nd for 6 weeks of pure hard work in the sun! I will be playing and practicing at many places round Orlando.
That’s all for now, I’ll let you know how I’m getting on in the sunshine state!
